Ralph Waldo Emerson was born in Boston on Election Day, the
25th of May, 1803, Ralph Waldo Emerson was the fourth child of Williamand Ruth Haskins Emerson who was a devout mother,
His father a conservative unitarion minister, he los hisfather when he was eith.Waldo married when he had 20 years by Ellen
tucker in 1829 she died from tuberculosis.He get married again by Lydia Jackson.
His undergraduate career at harvard was not illustrious
and his studies at the Harvard Divinity School were truncated by vision roblems, but he was ordained a minister
of the second church in Boston.
He start writing a magazine with Branson Alcott and George Ripley
calls "The Dial", after the tragedy of the death of John Thoreau from Lockjaw he beging with his memorializing poem "Threanody".
In 1845 he began extensive lecturing on the uses of great men as series that culminated
with the 1850 publication of "Representative men"; by that year he was giving as many as 80 lectures a year.
